Optimized for safety under
difficult conditions
The radar function
ensures a safer and more relaxed voyage. Easy operation and advanced
features will assist your navigation and look-out, especially in bad
weather and at night. The Dual Range function can give a detailed close
range radar image with the long range overview alongside. With the double
speed antennas it's like having two radars in one. In poor visibility you
really get the full picture.
High speed update
Especially for fast
moving vessels the selectable double update rate is a real safety benefit.
The 4 kW and above antennas can operate with 24 or 48 revolutions per
minute (rpm).
Improved target definition
The latest and most
advanced low-noise receiver technology ensures increased target
definition, the ability to separate objects. This will increase your
chances spotting even the smallest dinghy and thereby improve safety at
sea.
Continuous range
The scale can be
set to any value with the multi range function or in fixed steps from 1/8
NM to 72 NM, or 64/48/36/24 NM depending on choice of antenna.
Guard zone
The radar can be
set up to sound an alarm when a vessel enters or leaves a specific area.
This guard zone can be set anywhere in relation to the vessel or fixed to
the location in true motion mode.
Target trails
Moving vessels as
radar targets are easily separated from fixed objects and land using the
trail feature in true motion mode.
