Easy navigation with electronic charts

The chart system is based on the award winning C-Map NT+ electronic C-Cards. The very precise and detailed vector charts, enable window pop up with information on ports, navigational marks, lights, buoys, depth contours etc. It is possible to customize the chart presentation by turning various details on or off. As you sail along, the ship's symbol will automatically move across the detailed chart indicating precisely where you are in real time.

Greater accuracy with DGPS

SDGPS - Satellite differential GPS uses signals from WAAS (US) or EGNOS (EU) to provide long range improvement of the position accuracy. With a coastal DGPS beacon within range, the built in differential receiver will automatically lock on to the two strongest beacon stations, providing 2 to 5 meters accuracy.

Advanced Chart Management

The ACM function will ensure the best suitable chart at all times and with a good distance ahead for safe navigation.

Trackplotter

Plot your present position as a waypoint with a single key or record a precise track of the voyage. Waypoints and routes, tracks, lines and marks with depth information can be stored in the internal memory, or saved on a Simrad DataCard as back-up or data exchange with a friend.

TD and lane conversion

Valuable waypoints in Loran TDs or decca lanes can be keyed in directly and converted to Lat/Lon. The fisherman will appreciate having both cursor and present position shown in TDs or decca lanes.
