New from Furuno, the advanced FCV1100 Color Video Sounder has been specially built to make installation a little bit easier. This is achieved with the Furuno Free Synthesizer (FFS) Transceiver, which allows you to choose a variety of frequencies and output power to suit your current transducer situation. So whether you already have a transducer installed or you are planning to install a new one, the FCV1100 offers a solution for every scenario.

The FCV1100 is a high-performance, dual frequency sounder, select from 28, 38, 50, 88, 107 or 200 kHz. With the FFS Transceiver, you may select a different frequency and output power to suit a special transducer configuration.

Featuring a high-resolution 10.4-inch Color TFT LCD display, the FCV1100 offers unsurpassed visibility. The unit can display echoes in 8 or 16 colors as standard settings, or use the custom color menu to blend colors giving you the ability to display more than 4,000 colors. Use the variety of colors to represent different levels of sensitivity, allowing you to easily identify target size and school density. In addition, the background color can be changed for optimum day or night viewing.

The FCV1100 gives a variety of presentation modes; Normal, (low frequency, high frequency or both), Mix, Bottom-lock Expansion and Bottom Discrimination, Zoom and A-scope. The Mix mode compares echo strength by high and low frequencies. A target represented in a level corresponding to red for both frequencies is displayed in the color of the high frequency (brown red - red); a target only detected by the lower frequency is displayed in the lowest level color (blue). This mode is useful in searching for a particular species in surface fishing.
